Description
Poole Park. Sunday 2nd October 2011.
Annoyed with the event organizers at the Park. Arrived at 9am to discover the park closed to traffic, so had to park outside the area. We wondered round a nearly deserted park for an hour and a half, and nothing was happening at all!
It was a very warm sunny day, which normally brings in the crowds. This was probably the last chance for the retailers to make any money before winter, and the park was closed?
There was some sort of fun run, supposedly happening. Not one runner passed us in all that time.
So I wonder how many visitors turned away and how much it cost the retailers in lost revenue?
