een beetje krom.
Van het dragen van vele vruchten
staat hij daar te zuchten

Maar zijn appels zijn heerlijk

It's so weird Jacomina, I see no apple-tree ? ;-( more like an aerial photograph and the main road going right through the middle of a 'Gaudi' - like City centre ! ;-) Never-the-less an amazing looking fractal - left to the viewers imagination for all sorts of interpretations. Take care, BB
Very creative image. The colors and lighting are gorgeous. Looks a bit like green apples have fallen in your area. We have 2 huge apple trees in our yard and they were pretty bare this year. Way to wet,not enough sunshine very poor weather for them. Other summers they are like the ones described in your poem. Fantastic work and poetry Mies.
