Just back from a fantastic birding trip on the Greek island Lesbos… Not easy to make a choice in the more than 1250 pictures made during this extraordinary week ! Let’s start with this Little Owl (Athene noctua) seen the first morning at 150m from our hotel ! Juste rentré d’un fantastique voyage ornitho sur l’île grecque Lesbos… Pas facile de faire un choix parmi plus de 1250 clichés… Je commence avec cette petite Chevêche d’Athena, aperçue le premier jour à 150 mètres de notre hotel… Thank you very much for your comments on my previous upload: thumb_2246392.jpg "Brittany"

What a beautiful bird. However, it seems to be in a very bad mood. He probably did not catch his dinner. LOL. Great capture. I hope to see the other photos soon. I'm sure they will be spectacular, like this one.

I saw your image in LWitG and love birds of prey so I looked further. What gorgeous shots! I love this little fellow, beautiful in his colorful perch. Excellent detail and color, and superb shot!
