Hi Friends,
On one of my walks here in front of our house, I saw for the first time a boy fishing in the ponds.
I've never seen somebody fishing there.
So I was interested, and I made a chat.
A little later, I heard Sam (his name) calling, very loudly for me, he had almost caught a fish.
I of course went back to him, and shoot a photograph.
Thank you very much for your visit, and for everything else too ;-)
p.s. zoom and see that eye, a bit creepy.

Great capture Mies. That had to hurt the fish. If you know someone with a lip piercing, try lifting them up off the floor by the piercing and ask them if that hurt a bit. :)

Excellent catch and capture! :) If you are going to do this to a fish, you better eat it or you have no excuse for putting it through this pain. What! Just for the fun? That would just be mean! Eat the fish or don't fish at all.

This is a spectacular photo, Jacomina and should be in the: 'LWITG' - in my honest opinion and it is an instant FAV with me, great timing and composition! I haven't even noticed the fishing-line? (perhaps I need new spectacles?) maybe he's just coming up for a fresh breath of air. Wunderbar !!! ... and I love eating fish - it's sooooo good for you! ;-) Ciao my little Sis, take care BB *** BTW here in Australia, the Carp is not a great delicacy - on the contrary, they use it for all sort of things (don't ask me why?) eg. fertiliser, cat-food etc. ;-(
