Hahahaha! This summer I was driving in Colorado and New Mexico on what used to be known as the "Devil's Highway", US 666. But the authorities had two problems: Many people refused to use this stretch of road because of that designation, and they couldn't keep highway signs for all the thefts LOL! They finally just redesignated it to US 491 which solved both problems. You gotta wonder where they came up with 666 out of the blue since the new designation actually better fits in with the local numbering system...
