I love heather, and it looks so nice against that fence. Andrea said it was "cozy," and I must agree. There's something quite intimate about this view, as if you're shutting out the rest of the world in order to be in this small, beautiful spot in the world. Wonderful photograph!

Those wood patterns are marvelous! I love the light, and the feeling of warmth in this shot. I can almost smell the heather. It grows here, but not in a truck yard. WE have other things...giant thistles, evil prickly things that pretend to be thistles, and other stinky things that make you itch. But not heather. This has such a nice "out in the country" feeling to it. I like the play of light and color. This is so alive.

Beautiful! I love the detail of the wood and the joyful profusion and motion of the heather. It seems to be leaping upward and maybe doing a bit of a dance in the breeze. Lovely lighting. The wooden planks stand out against the shadows with beautiful textures and patterns. The shadows in the heather seem alive, as if captured in the magic of the dance. Wonderful image!
