Description
I saw these shoes at the docks where the shrimp boats was I took photos of. It reminded me of that saying "walk a mile in my shoes" guess it came from the old days when roman ruled the world at that time. A Roman could ask any non Roman to carry his stuff up to a mile ; for free of course.

Very cool pic her Jock, and love your thoughts behind it

Makes me wonder why those shoes are there? Someone is going barefoot, I guess!
I don't think I would make it!
Great shot!!!
Jocko: HELLO! .... Search YOUTUBE for "JOE SOUTH: WALK A MILE IN MY SHOES) .... SONG hit of MY day/youth.
they look worn... I saw a woman's high heel in a parkinglot walking to work the other day, from what I could see of it, it looked like it was in great shape, I got a cold chill something happened to her - sometimes seeing shoes left behind makes you wonder what the story is left behind it.
Cool shot, and perfect saying for them!
Beautiful capture ^^.
You've got me wondering Jocko. That's the sign of a good photo.
thats the advantage when you belong to a superior race lol.but then they all got washed away .

great idea erland
One look and the lyrics began in my head. "These boots are made for walking and that's just what they'll do". One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you.
Fantastic!!
Jocko FYI---This idiom means that you should try to understand someone before criticising them.
Great. Now we have to investigate the missing persons caper! Good concept on your part!
Great story, and shot, Jocko. It's good not to smell :)
Ah! Since so are my shoes! I had already missed it ... LOL Class shot!

Well,I hope that the former owner of these shoes got himself another pair and that they were not "cement overshoes".Good shot.
