I could spend an entire day there just shooting. There was SO much to see, I'm sure I didn't catch a third of what was there.
ps ... the prickly pear really was purple!

all over i like to see and explore what is all to find on the picture .... on the other hand I think a DSLR version with on open lens (f1.4) and only the guard sharp and the background blurred could be quit intersting too...but for this you need a DSLR and a fast lens.

I lived in AZ for many years, but am not familiar with this site. Looks very intriguing, where might it be? The cactus really makes the composition. It is actually not uncommon for the prickly pear to have purple tones to it. Great image!
