Description
The Broad-bodied Chaser, Libellula depressa, is one of the most common dragonflies in Europe and central Asia. It is very distinctive with a very broad flattened abdomen, four wing patches and, in the male, the abdomen becomes pruinose blue.

With your help I was able to determine my lesser broad bodied chases a few weeks ago. This is the male isn´t it. Mine was a lady.. They should meet eachother :-).. A beautiful image this is.

J'aime bien les libellles. Et c'est bien que tu l'aies photographiée en contre-plongée, qu'on voie son ventre. Belle prise de vue.
