Description
Within a few months of living on the surface, the enchantment on Shandaras weapons and armor faded. While forged of the finest materials, exposure to the sunlight, they were never meant to see, soon drained their magical properties. Sensing Shandaras grief and as a reward for her steadfast defense of the innocents, plagued by the many marauding monsters of the region, Silvara commissioned the elves to look into the problem. Being that her items were forged by the drow, the surface elves explained they were unable to reimbue them. They did however, produce exact replacements that would never dull or diminish, either on the surface or far below it. Many a favor do the elves owe to their dragon friend Silvara, but Shandara could still not fully express her heartfelt gratitude for the wonderous treasure bestowed upon her, by her closest friend. The elven chainmail, no heavier than a silk gown, yet stronger than a knights plate, allows Shandara to move without a sound. Her scimitars, perfectly balanced and sharp beyond the means of any non-magical forge, can decapitate a giant in a single swing. Shandara will ever be endebted to Silvara for "The Gift".
