Description
As illustrator usually I creates artworks for book covers or magazines on demand - as you can see on my website - but I long toyed with the idea to create illustrations of classic science fiction novels to put on the royalty free market, as usual for my spare production.
Here's the cover (the twelfth of my "classic sci-fi series" - take a look to the other ones in my Renderosity galley) of "Starship Troopers", by Robert A. Heinlein, first published in 1959.
This time I've add also the book title layout to the image because it give more the feeling of a published book cover art.
Rendered in Poser 7, postwork with Photoshop 7 and Dynamic-Photo HDR.
