Description

here is the finished painting. I still trying to get good shots but it not easy. looks easy but it not. i got this at a civil war reenactment here in Louisiana. going into a art show on Aug 12 here in Sulphur I have to put together my new easel which I can then lean the painting forward to get the shine off or even straight up and down here is a link to where i bought my new easel http://www.jerrysartarama.com/discount-art-supplies/easels/studio-easels/renaissance-studio-easel.htm I did not put it together as I need to first buy shelf's and clean out a room that I makeing into my studio. So the photo have the top a little bit bigger but you may not noted it here. I did the best I can lol. oh; if you looking for frames for your art work and you need them now go to Michael and buy the wooded frames you put together. They real easy and some on sell now. they easier than the metal frames and you can put a painting it the wooded ones but not in the metal ones. Just something I learn today. Plus it cheaper than the ones made already.

This is really cool! I love the textures and highlights! What are the dates for the show? I'm sorry if you've told me before, I have a terrible memory. I was thinking it was later in the year. I'd love to see it, but after the 16th would be easier than before as far as work goes. Will it be showing the next weekend (20th)? This is terrific! Excellent work!

picture of a painting is not the same as you see it live. i seen photos of art in books then i saw them live at art Museums. go to them if you can. many will let you take photos in them. many will not but you can try. just ask them first

One half of dueling banjos in this great work of art, Jock. A WIP with a jaunty hat, just biding his time before going into battle.

This is a MASTERPIECE Jocko.... The colors and style remind me of Van Gogh... You should do very well at the contest = If you're selling it, double what ever figure you're thinking right now - something tells me you'll get double what you want. good luck.
