The laughing girl originally caught my eye, but what I love are the bored children's expressions in the bottom right. I didn't even notice them when I took the photo!

Oh, this rocks! This really has a vibe like no other. I kinda get the feeling you're wandering through some exotic souk or zocolo where the air smells like really tasty stuff on rotisseries while somewhere, someone smokes shisha, while local music blasts out of various storefronts and cafes...endless repetitions of that song by Whatsisname...the guy with those eyes; all the girls (and a few of the boys) are just crazy about him! Anyway, enough of that. This shot rocks and I have to say that I can't pick out any single thing that grabs my eye in this shot because just as I think I see one I notice another one immediately. This just jiggles and shimmies with life, including the life of bored kids who probably don't really care for Whatsisname oozing out of the speakers, singing that boring old song about that stupid love stuff. Yeah, I like this a lot
I do believe that is a real gas light up there to the right. Nice to see that!
The gas light is a heater to help people sit outside in the chilly weather.
mate these are really good I'm enjoying them so much and I agree about the girl in the bottom corner she caught my eye straight away what a photographers gold mine this little place is. Great work mate, Geoff.
I reckon street photography is less about where you actually are and more about having the nerve to stick your lens in people's faces and start shooting in the first place!!!!!!!Once you get over that, there are interesting scenes EVERYWHERE!!!!

Marvellous! I used to be given a pencil and something to draw on when I got bored, or we played I-spy, or we had a discussioin about what we were going to do later. Brilliant shot!
