Description
It's been a while since I posted. It's not that I haven't been drawing; it's that I've been drawing so much I haven't stopped long enough to post!
This is a drawing/painting/sketch I knocked out today. It's not perfect, and I can see areas I should fix, but I already know this is as much as I'm going to do. I'm sure you've all been there. :)
Art Rage 3
iPad 2
Targus Stylus
Thanks for looking.

Cool!!!
Dramatic portrait, cool expression and painting!
Truly magnificent!
wow,cool work ^^
Fantastic work.
It looks great, try not to be a "perfectionist" - I know that work cause I was called it by many half a lifetime ago... the Word use to bother me - lol... but they were right, I draw something, they'd like it and I'd start pointing out changes I want to make, they'd laugh and alot of times say: this is perfect, you're not changing a thing. so, I'll say it to you... This is perfect, don't change a thing
Excellent!
This is fabulous. I like the side view and the style you use is strong.
Brilliant style love how Powerful he looks You got him down Wow!
Thank you all. You’re far too kind. If there are any other iPad doodlers out there, I can’t recommend the Targus/Griffin stylus enough. I’ve destroyed 2 Pogo Sketch stylus’ (from over-use), and have been astounded at how much better the Targus is. Far more precise, and infinitely more resilient to wear and tear. Incidentally, you can get essentially the same stylus, unbranded, for around $2 on eBay; for those that aren’t brand conscious (I’ll be buying them from eBay from now on). Also, I strongly urge anyone with an iPad, PC or Mac to give Art Rage a try. For someone who has struggled for years to get my ideas on ‘paper’, I’ve found this of all art applications to be the most intuitive, tactile, and fun. And I think I’ve tried them all! :P ArtRage is to Photoshop what MudBox is to 3D Studio Max. :)
nice to see you posting again! i like the roughness. the cape is a touch awkward and the ear seems like more detail than fits the overall style, but it does an excellent job of capturing the major lines, providing texture and interesting brush strokes, and generally giving an accurate feel of the character.
Nice work! Hey man, I'm an ipad doodler now using Autodesk sketchbook pro O app. Nice tip bro, I'll go get me one Targus stylus and Artrage soon.
