The Girls are back in town!
It's been a long time, but the Girls From T.N.A. Are back from their hiatus, and ready for action.
I've had so many things in the works over the past few months, the TNA series has kind of ended up on the back burner for a while! But I'm happy to bring it back again. And there's a lot more to come.
I've had to stop and give some thought to the direction I want the story to go. I've done a bit of re-writing on a number of parts of the story. I've always had a general idea of what the story would be, and how it would progress, but each new chapter has been kind of a 'make it up as you go along' sort of thing. I now have a better vision of how I want to tell it.
I'm hoping things settle down a bit - it's still pretty chaotic with older family members who are turning the final pages of their lives, and other relatives who are - to put it politely - being a pain in the butt. As Roxy said on her last post, doing a series does require a bit of commitment. And it's true. I've found it to be a rewarding experience, and I sure don't plan on stopping now! I'm having too much fun with it!
In other news, the first in a planned trio of tutorials on blending 3D characters with photographic backgrounds is almost complete. Look for it in the tutorials section soon.

Excellent work! I love the way this is going and the artwork is fantastic!!!!!!! I understand where you are coming from - commitments to work (gotta have money to pay for the goodies) and family issues (mom & dad are NOT young anymore and I'm not exactly a spring chicken) and so.... Fae Valley has gone to the back burner for the time being
totally flawless work Rod, each segement in this strip is super. this must takes weeks to complete. love the use of johnny's sky ryder. makes me want a spin with these gals myself. the best comic series ever here my friend. and that zoom was terrific. all of it 15+!! / steve
Oh my, such a wonderful work, Big Bro! I will also fall in love with that Skyryder, looks like he is well-maintained. I also like how you played with the angles and POVs of each frame that makes it quite interesting, not to mention those props, full of details and a real treat to the eyes!
Rod, this is a first class work of art all the way around my friend. You are fantastic at creating these panels and I really like the story. Hope to see more when you have the time
I'm so happy to see a new chapter with the girls! You've done an excellent job with the details and the plot line. Wonderful work! The only problem with this is that when you post a new chapter, I start wishing for the next installment right away. (I'll try to be patient.) :)

Rod, the amount of effort you put into this series never fails to amaze me. You don't just put figures in panels and fill a word bubble. Each panel is filled with detail that makes it look real and alive, like the girl in the red dress in panel one, the reflections in the window, the palm print on the hand scanner key lock and I could go on. All that make an environment look lived in. And that is not to mention the complicated scene structures themselves. Each image you upload is well worth the wait. p.s. I read the tutorial tonight and will site mail some comments but I want to think about it because you have put a lot of work into it.

i knew that this J5iver wouuld turn the girls on,the one is even babbling senseless around-she has a testosterone owerdose muahahahaha. glad at least one of us has a general direction in his story lol,i never know whats awaiting me as soon as i open the daz vault hehehehe. excellent work bro.a fav for sure.

Man, you create such incredible "comics"! The layout and design of each panel is top-notch! Plus, your story and dialogue flows nicely. Kinda jumped into this one part way through, it seems, but I'm looking forward to seeing more! Unfortunately, the "cute" frog-guy's mode of speech just made me think of Jar-Jar F*cking Binks so I can only hope that he comes to a slow and painful death...! :)
You are truly a natural born artist....Your work is excellant. Lots of time and thought to all your creations... I like the top scene with the Gecko best. He is just too cute!!

Welcome back girls!!! Oh, and glad you brought Rod along...hey, BTW where is he? My mistake his cameos in those yellow tights were back in the Busted series. This is great Rod...I always marvel at how you do all that you do. Jo must think you are building a secret weapon in the basement...I can see her sitting in the living room watching the Royals with one eye and watching the corner stairwell with the other eye...that would make quite a render by itself;-) Today's seven renders are each superb...detail, lighting, sharpness and dialoque. They just knock me out!

I want a J5iver, please? Pretty please? With REAL New England maple syrup on it?? That is one very cool vehicle! So much detail in your work that when you look at a picture for a second time you see something you missed before. Of course I LOVE the gecko!!!!

Wow, this looks fantastic with the most amazing details. A lot of work in this series and great lighting and posing too. What a fab machine to go for a ride in, I wonder when it will be on the market, I will start saving. Excellent detailed work for an outstanding result.
ONE MORE TIME EXCELLENCE :) LOVE THE J5ive model ;-) About bryce crash, I use Bryce 5 for almost 10 years now :) But I know with Bryce 7.1 you need a powerful machine to run it perfectly... You need at least double core 64x :) Keep trying...work with the booleans that not take to much memory

Ugh, the electric when out as I was finishing up my post for this image. :( Your work is incredible. Very inspiring and enjoyable. Slalom with the cell phone towers, too funny. I sure hopes she pulls something like that on G4 again. Sounds like Arawen is a little dare devil.
