Description
I was in Glen Rose Texas when i saw this. It was cloudy at the time but still it came out ok.
I read from a pro that you have to learn to shot under all types of lighting. I believe him too

Very pretty capture Jocko! :)
very nice pic!
GREAT SHOT
~Fantastic capture!~
Quite a cool variety of insect and plant life you came up with here, Jock. And, I don't agree with Andrea. I like to take picture of flowers in the sunshine so I can capture the bright colors and the sharp contrast of light and shadow.
beautiful
Excellent shot Jocko, love work!
That is amazing that the blooms of this cactus look like a crocus. :)))) I like this image alot. :))))))) Excellent capture. :)))) Thank you for sharing the beauty you see. :))))) Carry A Smile In Your Heart :)))))

Very pretty flower and beautifully taken :) Cathy xoxoxo
Looks beezy in them thar flowers, but I ain't gonna stick my nose in thar to find out if it's fragrant! ;)
A very colorful display. It appears that the beetles and other insects also are enjoying this treat.
This is really super and it pays to zoom in to full view...there is so much to see. The flowers themselves are absolutely gorgeous and I love the colors: it seems to me that the colors resemble really delicious fruit. And of course I'd like the insects! So many different kinds (well, okay, maybe 3 kinds.) I had to laugh when I saw them as I thought: "WOW! Jocko took a picture of one of those hard-to-find nectar bars where all of the trendy bugs hang out!" This is great! I really like this a lot, and I agree with Andrea...sometimes it's better to photograph flowers on cloudy days because the colors do pop out differently. Sometimes the sunlight makes the colors too bright. You did a really good job with this shot here!
wonderful cactus blossoms! and very nice bugs! Great photo!
jocko u get shots that are so different and I love cactus easy to keep and the bugs stay there in one place lol""

Good shot. They rarley bloom. :)
I'm glad my cactus don't have bugs like that on them, often flowers shoot better under shady light I often shoot in flower tents.
