i think its a......... BIG plane...;)

Possibly a C-17 - I'm not sure if they're still flying the C-5s... Bill or Rob will know, I'm sure! :-D I know they used to call the C-5 Galaxy the "Aluminm Overcast" for obvious reasons... Great capture of this biggie!

ze Plane! Boss! Ze plane!!!!

What you have caught here is a Lockheed C-5M Super Galaxy. Well done matey on joining the plane watchers club!!!!!

Stark contrast and clarity in this fine capture of the C5 Galaxy as it soars overhead, heading for who knows where, Marilyn. Welcome to the aircraft spotters club, young lady!

Gee hes bigger than the pelican lol, keep looking up Mariyln who knows what you may capture in the sky next, maybe a UFO ;-P. Nice capture of this big bird!!

it a big place and sa the little fellow say on a show" the plane; the plane"

I read other comments so I know what kind of plane this is: in short, I cheated! It's a gorgeous capture, however, and I'm impressed that something so big can stay airborne, but then look at those wings! They work hard! Those engines too! Impressive. I can almost hear it and feel the air vibrating with its passage. Really nice. I love the sense of scale and how it actually looks as if you were a wee bit closer to it than you actually were. This is nice.

I'm with Arthur.

Great silver bird come down from sky god. We sacrifice goat. A great capture. It shows up very well against that brilliant blue sky.

C-5 or C-17...I can't tell from this angle. I hate to admit defeat;-) Well done and a puzzler.

I had the privilege of walking through one with no escort.they are huge in side with space to fit 2 tanks side by side

The C-5 is a monster plane. Hopefully bringing home some of our men and women from Afghanistan. Dana

Yes, it's a big one; great shot!
