Exellent work.
Great statue and nice photo of it! :)
A beautiful tribute to Audie. An average guy with more than average courage. This statue is very telling - when Audie seized a German MG36 machine gun and used it on the Germans. After the war, he went into acting in movies. He played himself in the film about his war time career. A remarkable fellow. We need more heros like him today. Thanks for the post!

Awesome image of an American Hero!!
Splendid composition and colors my friend
Fascinating guy Richard. The movies always made him look big...must have been quite a trick for the cameramen. Excellent image for a man who deserved the honor of a statue.
Superb, there's nothing more that could be added, it is top notch, Richard!!!!!
wow this is super looking
~Nicely done!~
Impressive statue and fantastic photography my friend....!!!!
grea foto, this statue reads " us infantry hero's prever german machine guns." ;P
Wonderful capture and dedication. I loved watching Audie Murphy in movies when I was growing up. Cause my dad was in the Army it was well known in our house he was a war hero. He and a couple other short actors were made to stand on a box for their scenes way back when. Probably like "Captain Kirk" of Star Trek fame, who is also small, some actors around him were chosen for their small statue to make him seem larger.
Well presented...thank you
Great capture my friend!!!
