Description
There was a surf band concert at the pier today. All kinds of band playing all kinds of surf music. From classic Ventures, to some pretty edgy versions. I loved this drummer; he just lost himself in what he was doing. Then he came and sat down next to me and teased me about my flip flops--a man after my own heart!! (Like flip flops are unuusal around here!! lol)

Nice 'prop blur' in the sticks! I hope during his teasing you asked him why he decided to give up music to pursue drumming!!!!!!!!!!! My friend is a drummer and that joke never gets old! Actually, working with bands with my photography I'm learning how much the drummer is in control of the rest of the band, with his beat keeping the whole thing together.

If this is Huntington Beach I know the place. The singers and guitar players may get all the attention but watch out for the drummers Marilyn. Those are the dangerous ones. Terrific image. You captured the action perfectly.

Great capture be careful wearing those things I ended up with a condition of my feet and my muscles it took years to develope but doc say's it has been know to be caused by bare feet and flips:(just a friendly warning ))cause I am suffering a lot:
A drummer??? Could you not have met a nice trumpet player or something? LOL! Didn't anyone ever tell you that drummers are trouble? :P They have something twisty in their brains. Aside from all that nonsense ... this is a great capture!
