Description
This guy got caught at the very top of this wave; fortunately he was able to get over the top to the backside. Otherwise, he would've been smashed hard to the bottom. Scary stuff !!

Amazing! I always admire anyone who has the bottle to get in waves like this.
they must be quite mad
Wow! That's intense! But what a beautiful capture!
beautiful capture and well seen!!
Appallingly scary
Fantastic capture and story
Cool capture I like the two dark strips in this too..
Fantastic colour and action capture Marilyn!
I see a mermaid's tail preparing to dive. If you thought it was a guy, I'm thinking you have some very masculine mermaids in that part of town..........
Whoa! I can feel the impact from here! Stellar ocean freeze capture in this awesome shot, M! I'm much too old for this surfing activity. And, before I forget, I have two separate versions of the movie, "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" on DVD.
such beautiful deep blues and look at the power in the water, very nice capture
You have some really interesting water in your part of the world. Lake Michigan doesn't do this at all...We get nasty swells and undertows. This looks impressive, however, and I'd love to see something like this in person...but not too close, mind you. I'm like a cat: I can't get my whiskers wet, lest I feel wonky until dry. All of that notwithstanding, this is a brilliant shot. I love the parallel lines in the wave itself; they recall railroad tracks of parallel skis. It's an intriguing thing to see and there are so many intriguing things to see in this. I like this a lot. Really rich color too, which is incredible since blue is a "cool" color, not often associated with "rich" which is usually "warm." You've done such a top-notch job with this.
Fabulous capture! I don't admire people who do this ... I only shake my head in amazement and a total lack of understanding.
Amazing combination of wave action and sea foam. Are you sure that the guy surfaced after all that? Dana
do look bad to the bone wave. i do not know much on this stuff here but it a good wave
Awesome capture.
One win for the wave... Aloha
