Description
Our Autumn rain has bought out the best in Mushrooms - they are high in fiber & protein, low in calories and contain important minerals
but most of all - they just taste so yummy -think 'Mushroom Omelet' or 'Mushroom Soup' or? enough already ...

Here is my thought for the day:
"All Mushrooms are edible - but some only once!"
and here is another one:
"Frustration is the compost from which Mushrooms of creativity grow."

Lovely shot Brigitte. We have to wait a few more months yet.
Super POV. I feel like a Munchkin about to have a massive Mushie pig-out ! I hope these aren't the one-taste variety, otherwise my Munchkin days are over ! Wondrous capture & ~Cheers~
Fantastic POV and composition! My fav, portabello sliced an inch thick. A 50/50 mix of Italian/ceaser dressing and BBQ.... yummmy!
Love portabella, fried in butter and garlic Great capture
A beautiful shot, my dear friend. The colors and light are wonderful in harmony. It could be a fractal. Yes, and we eat wild mushrooms, but we will not take this :). Here they are good for the eyes, so everyone can admire your great result with this. Take care, Britchen ;)
Getting down low to the ground gives a very interesting perspective, the postwork also brings out some cool details!
Superb POV!

SPLENDID IMAGE
Beautiful lighting in this marvellous capture and I love the angle you have taken it from. Excellent colouring.
I have been missing the assorted fungi images from our usual suspects. Thank you for taking up the banner. Superb capture, composition and light are fantastic. I once had a mushroom omlet in Java. Walked around stoned for the entire day.
Way to get down in there. Great work!!!
Love Your photo and love mushrooms !!
Outstanding phoyo Mushroom steaks on the grill I'm hungry just thinking about them
Fantastic work,Brigitte!!
Great capture, Brigitte! Mushroom are tasty but for experts to collect! ;o)
How cool! I feel like I am sitting under giant mushrooms in my computer chair:) Great shot!!
Perfect POV of those ones
Great capture!
Fantastic POV and composition!
Ah rain! I knew what that was once. Beautiful image! Superb POV and light! Wonderful shadows against the rock. I love the way they both stand out against and are a part of their surroundings. The composition and textures are fantastic too. They look like a tradition family unit, Papa Mushroom, Momma Mushroom, and Baby Mushroom. And you talk of eating them! Though a mushroom omelet does sound good...
