Description
One will never know, who or what washes up on the beaches these days ?
...
A Sunday walk @ Kingscliff Beach proved to be very productive, when I discovered this really weird looking piece of driftwood -
I could see a fish-face in it and felt I just had to share it with you - so, what do you see ?
...
with some slight postwork trickery, to emphasize this woody portrait - I do hope you like this unusual effect as much as I did ...
Cheers *BB* aka Brigitte

Yes Brigitte I see that fish as well - like the work you've done on this.

Beautiful photo.
A damn' kool find BB, but it makes a scary fish...not one I would like to catch ! That would have to be the most trippy postwork effects ever ! Very well done & ~Cheers~
Oh BB-schen, what is it that you offer us? Your Sunday dinner? A fish gasping for breath. That is parched by sun too long, nearly consumed by the salt water. An alien landed on the beach, no I do not eat! A little too dangerous. ;D Stunning post-work, my dear Sis! Hugs to down under ;-)
bonne image!
fantastic work
Very lovely capture and great postwork
Very weird find and a great capture, Brigitte! :o)
The postwork is pretty cool, makes it look like some blue-blooded alien has washed up on shore!
WONDERFUL WORK
I love the post work you have done on this bit of driftwood as it has emphazised its weirdness and beauty. You would have to be very brave to eat this 'fish'. Excellent work.
Great Postwork !!! Looks like some kind of alien.

I am glad that you did not miss this mysterious object! Wood? Amazing! Fantastic work and presentation!
Cool. Love the acid colors.
I almost see some skully fun, mounted on an old voodoo doll. OK, so I MAY have some issues.....
I agree with some of the others it looks like some sort of alien.. interesting find and post.
My God, its bleeding! Defintely a gargoyle-ish face. A great find.
could probbaly meant anything depending on the point of view you choose, but I see a surprised fish that has seen something funny on its right.. vibrant, Britka!
I know all about him, and he's not an alien. He's a native of down under. Not down under Australia, but DOWN under. And the blue, is not blood. Their blood is a bright orange. It's um, a different bodily fluid. You must have scared him when you walked up. Now he's pretending to be a piece of driftwood until you leave and then he will scurry down that hole to his right. They live under all the continents but are rarely seen much less captured. Their discoverer Percy P. Filkleswart, called them Undergrounders. He wasn't much for naming things which considering his own name is understandable. He'll be thrilled to see this as his claims of their existence have been met with some skepticism. You can contact him at Sunnydale Home of Understanding in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a marvelous image! I love the postwork! The combination of bright colors, dark shading, and sandy background is wonderful. Excellent detail and colors. Very cool post!
