Description
I stopped back by the Peacock ladies house the other day and this peacock was putting on quite the show. There are so many colors in this shot in order for me to get it sized down enough to be able to up load it I would loose a lot of detail that is so pretty so I decided not to show the whole bird just his head and feathers. I hope you like it.

WOW...this is a magnificent image, wonderful photo! Thank you for sharing!
Such a beautiful creature and such a horrible voice, like fingers on a blackboard. Outstanding image. The closeup defintely makes for a better picture.
Is elvis still around, did she (peacock lady) have a name for this one Great shot.
Peacocks are amazing with all their beauty of color. :))) When I was a small child my dad would take us for a Sunday ride so we could see the peacocks show all their beauty. Being a child, and even now being an adult they still amaze me. :)))) Thank you ever so much for sharing this beautiful image. :)))) Excellent capture. :)))) Carry A Smile In Your Heart :))))
He is beautiful, great capure!!!
lol @ Mike. this is splendid! Love it :) When I was young, the neighbors had peacocks/hens... and there was this mean peahen... she ran the neighborhood, and when she was out, she would chase you, fly at you with claws extended. There were many a times I'd call the neighbor to come get his bird so I could walk about without fear of attack! LMBO.
its unfortunate that you had to crop out some of this shot but the close long angled crop worked well! Amazing colour in this, and I love the straight on POV. And congrats on being featured in LWitG!
