Yesterday I posted a photo of a sky-high mailbox, and a few theories about it, and I also invited your theories.
Today Mike (mresty) posted a comment..
"LOL!!!! OK Rod! Since I have a neighbor with a mailbox like this, here is the explanation:
On the opposite side of the box it says "airmail" and on the backside there is a hole that is just the right size for a bluebird.
It's a bluebird house!"
Well, I think you've hit the nail on the head, Mike!
This photo was taken (through my dirty window) a few seconds after the previous photo. Clearly, this is a household that is quite fond of our little feathered friends. There are 9 (count 'em) birdhouses visible in this photo.
That's not counting the cow-looking thingy hanging in the tree. If that's a birdhouse, I don't even want to think about where the hole is.... Somehow, watching birds fly in and out of a cow's backside is just......wrong.
Anyway, Mike, you win the prize! What's the prize, you ask?
Why an all night date filled with fun and frolic with none other than the sexy and vivacious Agent G4! The only catch is..... you gotta render the pics yourself! You saw what happened when I did that! LOL!

lol... I love what Mike won.... Did you tell him he gets the Bill Clinton version? lol.... oh this is a trip, some people really love birds, I do too... but.... I can't stand the poop! lol... I clean up a birds crap day after day, just one homeless goose that has made my worksite his home for 3 years!!! but ya know what? It's job security cleaning up after him, so I kinda like the big turd = lol

hey hey, did not think mail was delivered there. besides the bird house that some would not know of driving by. they are wondering just like you said "what the F " enjoyed the guessing game my friend..
Dang.....I knew the one down the road from me was a "blue bird" house!!! It didn't dawn on me when I saw your first image though! It's hard to get Blue birds to raise here, because of other birds, like the aggravating blue jays! so ya have to put the blue bird boxes up higher, and in a different manner than a regular bird house....geeezzz I missed this one! lmao! Great shot here too!
I'm sure Mike can figure out what to do with the cowhouse! LOL

Hilarious! That cow has all sorts of interesting (and disturbing) images flashing thorough my mind! I wish there were bluebirds near where I live...ah, but this morning, I discovered goose poop where there shouldn't have been any, so there's hope! What a shot and commentary!

LOL!!!! Well, I kinda feel sorry for those poor blokes who don't have a neighbor like mine. I almost feel like I stole this amazing prize date with Agent G4 ... ALMOST, LOL! BUT, I can live with myself, LOL! PHEW! Can't wait for that close encounter with the hottest agent around! COOL! I didn't know there was a prize involved here. I'm with Auntietk on the cow concerns.. lol! This is cool, though! My parents have birdfeeders and always have bluebirds and finches around. I should try to take pictures of the bluebirds, they are a dark irredecent blue in this area. Great pic~
