OK - someone PLEASE explain this to me.... I don't understand....
I took this 'drive-by' photo in Smithville, MO. a couple years ago. I have a few theories..
Theory 1: Mail is delivered by helicopter in Smithville.
Theory 2: It's a new way to avoid bills and junk mail.
Theory 3: It keeps the kids from blowing up the mailbox with cherry bombs.
Theory 4 is all yours.....
I've been going through a bunch of old photos (in between all the other projects I have going on), and thought I'd stick a few of them in my gallery for your viewing pleasure.
I'm working on about 6 or 7 projects at the moment including the TNA series, the Busted series, and a few other things. Life never gets boring around here...

I think there is a mix up the bird box at the bottom should have been up on the pole and the post box on the fence, Either that or a giant delivers mail round here LOL.. Interesting capture Rod I love it heheehee have a super day my friend!

No, no.. the mail is delivered by squirrels or carrier pigeon. See, this is a new experiment by the post office since bird seed or nuts per day is less than a postal worker's pay. nods :) Great pic! lol

LOL!!!! OK Rod! Since I have a neighbor with a mailbox like this, here is the explanation: On the opposite side of the box it says "airmail" and on the backside there is a hole that is just the right size for a bluebird. It's a bluebird house! Sorry to ruin it for you buddy, LOL!

LOL! I came too late ... I remember seeing one of these when I was a kid. It WAS marked "Airmail," but I don't know if there was a bird in residence. The guy had it out at the street next to his regular mailbox.
