Description

My architectural model and those songbird ReMix swallows again. I was playing with backlighting, godrays and water fountain reflection in this image. While my intention was trying to make good art (and show off my model) the final result seems to have taken on almost a quasi-religious tone. I figured I'd just go with it, figuring it was a good image to post Easter weekend (and leave it to me to post an Easter image with birds in them ) Rendered in Vue 9i without postwork. I saw your earlier image for this model and thought it was very good too. In fact, the image itself is outstanding. There is a high degree of realism except for one notable exception: The walkway and fountain brickwork are in great need of bump or displacement texturing (you might need some on the stucco work as well for closeups). Everything else about this is just about perfect: The colors, the lighting, the water effects. This is really a very nice model and image, fix the texturing and you're golden!
