Description
The title should just about cover it (pun intended).
Captured 4/17/11, early in the AM, within walking distance of my harried habitat.
Much better viewed full size.
Very typical of what one sees on bushes in my general area. Little teeny weeny spiders weave complex blankets of finely threaded webs atop bushes, which become most apparent after either a rain, dew, fog, anything wet, mainly in the early morning before the webs dry out. I have many pics of this phenomena in my voluminous files, and found this particular one a keen specimen to post. I don't know what the water source was in this instance, probably dew or from a sprinkler system.
Toodles, thankx for tuning in, and for any and all favs and complimentary comments.

That is most interesting, looks like a mini forest covered in frogspawn.
I agree very interesting superb capture !!
Very beautiful, especially ZOOMED.
Great job Harry, you managed to cature all of the fine details of that web
these is small as if they dry you never noted them. cool shot
Very beautiful indeed, Harry!
beautiful idea and interesting shot too !!
That's pretty cool!
I love these little diamond blankets; I've found that they're harder to capture than one might imagine. Great job here, Harry, you did well!
Looks amazing
Oh this is just so pretty all by itself...would be neat to take shots of this at different times of the day to see shades, shadows and such...awesome find Harry!
A splendid capture of this spider's web. I am always amazed at how many of these are in my bushes after a rain when I don't really notice them most of the time.
This is gorgeous Harry - a great find and share. You would not hve found this if you walked later in the day. Dana
Gorgeous shot! I really need to overcome my repugnance of early morning hours. You capture such wonderful images on your morning walks. This is marvelous! Excellent detail, color, and light. I love the shadows of the drops on the leaves. After a couple of false trails, I have found a perfect match for the gulls I took pictures of in Galveston. And they have a wonderful name...Laughing Gull (Larus atricilla)
Tasty.
Oh what a cool shot of nature, I agree with Lucinda, I know the mornings are the best time to do photography and just think home much improved my work would be but sooo hard to get up early when you are a night owl like me.. Nice work.
