Description
...A cliff dwelling of the Southern Sinagua Indians in the Verde Valley near Sedona, Arizona.
...these Indians were farmers and farmed the lowlands along Beaver Creek at the base of their dwelling place.
This area is only about a 20 minute drive from where we are staying in Rimrock, Arizona.

Wow Great image Hugs Susan`
great place, cool shot!!
Wonderful looking place Bill would love to go into something like this to have a look around, I wonder what the view from up there is like..
Excellent POV and capture! :) I've always found these to be fascinating and wondered why would they build them up there. Then I saw a documentary on this and the reason they gave was not a pretty one. :
YES FASCINATING CHIEF...(If you come in Montreal one day I'll show you the Mohawks Community)
That could almost be a scene out of Bryce! Great shot!
That is very well camoflaged amongst the rocks and I guess they would have a great view and a safe place to live too. Excellent capture.

I'm not a big Arizona desert fan but as a tourist at certain times of the year, I find it delightful. This is a stunning shot. Haunting and yet, alive still. Great shot.

Great photo. It amazes me what people in the past could construct without all the machinery we have today. And this is still standing!
