Description
An architectural detail from a shopping center in Tlaquepaque, just outside Sedona, Arizona.
Our internet connection is fairly reliable here, but it's very slow, and I'm not sure how often we'll have the patience to post an image, if this works at all! Commenting is an exercise in futility. I'm trying to at least SEE what you're posting, but it might be a while before I can actually participate the way I like. There are times when I click an image to open it, and it takes three to five minutes to OPEN, let alone post a comment back.
Maybe a couple weeks of this ... we'll see how it goes!
Right now we're visiting good friends in Arizona and having a fabulous time. Crappy internet is a small price to pay! We're taking loads of photographs every day, so even if we disappear for a while, we'll be back with loads to share later on!
Miss you all, but snapping pics like a crazy woman. Loving every minute! :D

Oh, this is GORGEOUS, Tara! Wow! I can see all kinds of background ideas for this! Sounds like you two are living the dream! Can't wait to see more photos from your trip once you find a non-crappy internet connection! LOL! Beautiful photo!
Ohhhhh I envy youse! Warm (and dry) weather!!!! Nice image, looking forward to seeing lots more when you are hooked up to the net better. : )
Lovely place and view. The entrance grabs me,I love the darkness contrasting with so many details.Beautiful.
Oh you sound like you are having a marvelous time! Enjoy your friends and your photography... we'll see you when you are able to get a reliable connection! Happy and safe travels, hugs!
A wonderful capture of this beautiful spot and you sound to be having a great trip. I know what slow internet is like it sounds like my dialup used to be like. I'm looking forward to seeing all your photos when you get home.
hope all be ok soon for you. this is a wonderful image
Sunny and bright, and I love that southwestern style architecture. Glad you're having a great time!
Looks very homey. Sounds like you and Bill are having the time of your lives. As the Aussies say, 'good on ya'. There is a town by that name in Jalisco, Mexico. I looked it up. The name Tlaquepaque comes from the Nahuatl language and means "place above clay land".
This is a beautiful place; I saw it years ago when I visited Sedona. The whole area is pretty spectacular.
Sounds like you two are just having a blast Take care and have fun and take lots of photos like this - excellent
glad you are having a good time this is such a colorful capture warm hugs, Linda Kaye
Nicely captured Tara, that corkscrew shape goes really well with the square and round column.
Shadows and light - both kinds! Enjoy the time away...! Clive
Such terrific shadowplay! People are soo much better than computers, but I know how you must feel to be denied our shared habit!
lovely selection to capture
WOW, This is so beautiful and the colors are just goegeous. I am so glad you are having a wonderful time. :-)
AmaZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzing natural illumination fX!
Hmmm, sounds like your connection is what we had to endure in SA until about two years ago. I got used to it, but would hate to go back there...! Gorgeous lighting and composition (of course - this is Tara driving the camera...)
Perfect colosr and composition.
Great shot!!
I wish we would have architectural designed Shopping Centres like this, in our part of the world, this is so much more interesting than the usual grey/gray (?) concrete constructions, wishing you both a safe trip, BB
Wow! You've got so many wonderful pix in your gallery, and I can't seem to keep up with commenting on all of them. I know all about terrible internet service! I was finally able to dump my old IP and go with someone better. My old service was so slow it took HOURS to make comments, and posting pictures was a royal pain in the whoo-ha. Maybe now I can finally keep up with everything. Anyway, this is a lovely shot (one of many), and I'm glad you guys are having fun on your trip!
Great shot, I love it.
excellent!
I love this, it has a real Mediteranean feel to it.
Superb composition! Rich colors. Fine postwork:)
