Hi all - First, I want to say a heartfelt 'thank you' to all the folks who sent me emails, comments and favs in relation to my last posting. You touched my heart. Really. I appreciate all your support and kind words. You gave me a lot of smiles and made me feel good. I appreciate that very much.
I did this picture a while ago... when I was going through some stress with my friend's death (Jackie) and dealing with my mom's declining state. So this is a 'bit dark'. But I wanted to post this now. I'm actually doing 'okay'. Taking it one day at a time.
On the positive side, I'm grateful to have you guys out there. I'm grateful to have a good hubby and some wonderful kids. Life is full of ups and downs and I want to try to appreciate the positive... I've finally had a chance to view some of your art and I've missed that. Really.

What a great image, I love your character, she has that "never give up" look in her expression.
I wouldn't say this is really dark, maybe in content, but the imagery itself breathes the colors of life. Glad to see you are working yourself through these hard transitions.
