Description
Photo shot taken last Sunday.
I thank you all very much for your visit,
and for your lovely comments on my earlier upload.
Wishing you a very fine day further.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What I see in this old stump?
the exposed root.
Hitting the eye to heaven:
"whence comes my help"?
Is it a scream
as in a bad dream
out in silence and solitude,
completely lost in the woods?
Searching for redemption
for freedom from its ancient
roots,
so stressful pressing on?
Looking down at her, or his
wrested,
uprooted herself to this?
Oh Mies, you're doing too dramatic
it's just a stray fish!
You know the painting "The Scream".
a cry of every century
portrayed by so many
in such different ways
as often released
in an abandoned
loneliness
of feeling.
If you know this meaning.......?
Cool capture!!
TERRIFIC CAPTURE IT LOOKS LIKE IT'S SCREAMING
I love your version of the 'Scream', but then again it is a mighty good looking fish too. An excellent versatile capture.
Mr.Stump is making here a very dramatic entrance - at the opening scene of the new play in the forest ... Freilicht Buehne ! (it's just another thought and idea that came to my mind, when I saw this) Mr. Edvard Munch would be proud of you, Jacomina BB
A very powerful shot Mies, I can see why your poem started out as it did. It seems to be holding on to live however it can. That is living! Wonderful story and photo.
Superb framing, the eye goes to follow the path, I love it.
Excellent find. Perfectly named!
