Description
Nothing quite says "Spring" like tulips and daffodils, even if they HAVE been postworked into oblivion! LOL!
I love seeing people use bright colors in their art, but for some reason I shy away from it myself. I'm trying to become more comfortable with color. This is a small start! A single photograph, and a single layer.
Hopefully I'll be able to choose strong colors when I'm working in 2-D, as well. With few exceptions I tend toward more subdued colors. Then I see something someone else has done with gorgeous colors (oh, ... Helle, for example) and I get inspired!
THIS time I'm really gonna do it! LOL! See, if I tell you I'm going to be more bold, I'll have to follow through.
:D

This is so fantastic, Tara! I love what you've done and I hope you will do more like this!!!!
YAY :) It's so bright and pretty~
Wow, gorgeous, something very Peter Max-ish about this wonderful image. I do love it when you play!
This is really beautiful... The depth that you got is really cool. I love it. I suffer the wish of needing more color too. It doesn't seem to come natural with a life in muted goo long dreary. Nope Spring is a sudden one here for a change.
I just love this beautiful artwork with its glorious colouring and wonderful finish. I hope we see more of these.
Excellent, bold and colorful. This just screams SPRING. (As many of us probably are about now.) I tend to do a lot of dark, muted colors too, but my recent painting is bursting with color overload. It might be the start of a new series for me... Great image. Keep the color coming.
Very lovely colours in this Tara, excellent work!!!
This is shouting spring to me and I love it! I enjoy your work so very much.
Often I look at my gallery and say, Wow, I need more color...nothing much here [my gallery] but muted blues, grays and browns. This is inspirational. Boldly done! More:)
Nice PW!
Wonderful postwork. Great image!!
You are now committed to more, Tara! I do like the colours, the blues and orange compliment each other very well. Clive
Bold is good and this is an amazing work. The colors strong but not sreaming (if you know what I mean)I am looking this art and I allready made a poster out of it in my mind for the spring festival...just add text.
Great colours nice work.

WOO HOO !!! Tara, This is AWESOME. Wonderful rich vibrant colors, just as I love it. I am so happy if my work has been an inspiration to you. :-))) BTW! It is also good for a..... Painting :)
Wow! This is fantastic! You should make more effort to get out of your muted colour regime...
Wonderful image and splendid colours! :)
Superb composition...Love it.
'The Bold and the Beautiful' - what is there left to say, if that is the result ? Stupendous Tara - sooooo Art Deco! I love it, imagine a leadlight window decorated like this ? it's a WOW (an instant FAV for moi) BB
Yep - I think this is awesome, Tara! I love the blod, graphic colors - you picked the perfect photo, and the perfect postwork efeects. What a lovely poster this would make!
doing a good job
This is just astounding! When I was working I used to talk to people about attracting attention to our products by telling them you had to grab them by the eyeballs. This is a brilliant example of that philosophy. The color range from hot to cool is perfect. This would make such a great lithograph. The more you look at it the better it gets.
Superb artwork! I like the vivid colors of the result!
Nice work erland
