Description
This is at the closest pool on the Ratel river again, from a different point of view with an obliging cloud.
Odd as it may sound, we were actually wishing for clouds to give some respite from that bright star in the sky!
Enjoy the day!
Clive
The pool is very swimmable. I was just lucky that there were only four of us there on Friday, the next day there were about 60 people sharing the water!

I can't see any bright stars in the sky, the sun is always too darn blinding. ;)
Is that pool swimmable? If so, let's go...:) Some rugged terrain.
A beautiful clear image Clive.
indeed a beautiful place
If you don't want it can we in england borrow it for a bit. Or maybe a swop for Dark clouds and rain, how's that sound :)
Wonderful..what a spot! and I LOVED your name for my doodled animal..I challenge you to get a snap of the Ndabele Crowned Turkey Ralphie-strich as it is a SA native! HA! Happy hunting!
beautiful place !
I should have enjoyed Friday very much, then. Sounds like it got a bit crowded over the weekend! I love the rock formations, and that hint of a waterfall (which I remember from your previous shot) seems to take a few degrees off the temperature!
Lovely! I'd like some shade too, I wouldn't be able to see in all that brightness. But it does make the water refreshing. Beautiful spot!
Great capture Looks like a great place to swim
Is it deep enough to jump from the rocks? Just kidding - I would have done it in my young days but not anymore. I will probably not even get up there anymore! Stunning shot and that little cloud is most amazing guarding the rocks!
a wonderful place!!!!!! GREAT photo!!!!!!
Stunning capture Clive. I would rather have Fridays 4 people then Saturdays 60.
