Great perspective of this F-100 Bill. The F-100 was always one of my favorites, especially while they were being used by the USAF 'Thunderbirds'. Rob's shot should show the oval intake which looks really cool.
wonderful photo!!
Great sense of scale. I'm always amazed at how small these things are, until you get up close to them and realize they've been fooling you all along and that they're actually not that small (unless you're comparing them to aircraft carriers, alien starships, or the State of Montana.) I like the POV on this one, and that ood military green color that always looks somewhat turtle-derived. This is a great shot, especially of that rather lethal-looking business under the wing.
Wonderful capture, Bill, of the plane and Rob
Great shot. A couple of guys in their element.
That's a LOT of fotos--what a blast you must have had!!
Great shot Bill.
I cannot believe how time flies... June 2009... We must all be having loads of fun! Clive
Cool picture!!
Great capture Bill of this plane and Rob LOL.. well done!!
An awesome and interesting capture, awesome plane!
OK, I am glad I shall not come home and sort out 1000 shots on my computer LOL ! But this is a great shot :-)
Chipka.." especially that rather lethal-looking business under the wing." is no way to describe Robs sneakers :-) Sorry Bill, couldn't resist....great photo, interesting shape to the droptank.
Wow! You were busy while I was crashed out and coughing! I love the way this turned out. The postwork is wonderful, and the view across the wing is great. (Just in general, but in this case because you've caught Rob doing what he loves to do!) :)
That was a lot oc photo's, great shot!!!
great shot
You boys must have had a ball! When I was a boy this was regarded as hot stuff, today I suppose it would have been called "cool".
I'm totally ignorant of any and all things to do with these fighter jets, but I'm thinking that little thing under the wing with the flower-pattern holes is a gun of some sort? I have a flashlight that looks like that, wonder if I could fool anyone with it? Great shot!
Boys and their toys! Great candid and Rob gives some scale to this marvelous aircraft!
the catcher caught
Fantastic shot of him taking a shot! LOL Cool POV for the plane and on Rob...he said you two went crazy with the pictures!! Hey it sounds like it was loads of fun so it was well worth it!! :-) Great post Bill!
Great angle

Great to see, and great way to show the size of this craft.
WONDERFUL SHOT, GREAT CAPTURE, AND I LOVE THE GUY ON THE LEFT ;D

Hehe - well, Rob's certainly in his element here! Great shot, Bill! Nice to see the old 100! I remember working on the comm systems on F-100s and B-57s a long time ago!
