Description
View from Furka Pass (2,431m) toward Gletsch (1,759m) in the Canton of Valais, Switzerland. The small river at the bottom of the valley is the Rhone River. In the distance is the Grimsel Pass (2,185m). These switchbacks are fun to drive.

A simply stunning and sublime view! This is so wonderful in every way. I just picture myself standing somewhere within, hidden from all that is watching.... and taking in big gaping mounds of that beautiful oxygen.... nothing more beautiful... great presentation!
great foto, I remember as 6 year old, packed on the back seat in between cardboard boxes full of proviand, in a vw kaefer, those hairpin curves werent much fun to drive in fact they gave me road sickness, my mum loved them though, so i guess for a driver its a diffrent experience. ;)

We drove a very similar route in 1996 when we visited Switzerland! I cannot remember the name unfortunately but it was breathtaking - as is your image Sig!
