Description
Captured 2/10/11, early morning, within the cozy confines of my congenial condominium.
Better viewed full size.
Again, I took advantage of the sun streaming down from a narrow stairwell window to have some fun with my bifocals, this time equipped with flip-down sunglasses, which I placed atop the back side of a place mat.
I believe an appropriate posting in observance of my return to the Renderosity fold following my eye surgery on February 14, Valentine's Day, when I received gentle loving care, before, during and after the surgery. According to the doctor/surgeon, the operation was routine -- at least for him -- because I am still waiting for the eye to heal to the point of saying it was a complete success. As a result of all this, I'm experiencing after effects galore and am dealing with post surgery requirements at the present. Ergo, I'm doing this entire posting with my other eye. Incidentally, I took these photos three days before the surgery.
Thanks to everyone who expressed get well and hang-in-there comments in re this situation. To avoid overdoing it, and with my back still giving me problems, I won't be commenting much on the work of others for the time being.
Ta-ta, thankx for clicking on, and for any and all favs and complimentary comments.

Fantastic collage to help celebrate your return Harry, and so happy to hear that your doing well so far. Will keep you in my prayers for continued healing
Glad you are back, Harry. This is amazing. Lots' of detail in the shadows of those glasses.
Something about these shots reminds me of dragonflies; I guess maybe it's the shadows of the extra "wings"? At any rate, marvelous work with the lenses and shadows. And take it easy on the surgerized eye, you don't want to lose your depth perception!
Well done my friend. Glad to hear you are on the mend. Excellent collage...lots of sharp detail and the light/shadows make it very memorable.
SPECtacular set, harry. You must be glad it's over.
Fantastic idea and shots. Interesting variations of shadows. I wish you a speedy recovery.
All with one eyes huh Harry! Well, you have managed a good job none the less.. Glad to hear, that your operation has gone well and full recovery is expected! Yay! You just go easy, my friend.. Don't worry toooo much about comments and such.. Got well :-) Rob
Most Xcellent presentation!
Welcome back Harry and with a bang! I just love what you achieved here with the glasses/sunglasses. Marvelous light and shadow. I will talk more about your operation when I answer your sitemail!
GREAT to hear it is over Harry and I do hope you heal fast...my dad took about WEEK to recuperate...course he does stupid stuff like not obeying the Doc's orders and chilling out after any operation he's had...oh well...take care and fine set of pictures here my friend!
Elegant demonstration with these shadows and lights, that being the four eyes should be protected from the Sun! hee hee hee!
This is the perfect foto to celebrate the fact your surgery is OVER--looking forward to hearing that is WAS a great success!!
:) Such happy news. So glad to hear that your surgery seemed to be so successful. Great job on the specs...
I hope your surgery has gone well and that you are back seeing out of your eye soon. These are excellent captures and a great effect with the shadows. Very cleverly done.
Glad to hear that the surgery went well. I like all 5 of the alien insect images that your glasses created. So cool Harry! Dana
