Description
Have made a sign for the diner. Modelling completely in vue can be very hard, but it is possible (Only the letters were imported, thanks to franztsx!). The many lights brought me to a new problem: This pic as it is took me 19 hours to render (on a 1400 MHZ machine with 512 MB RAM) in final quality. The scene got 57 lights with 51 lights on the sign. Anyone got an idea how to reduce rendering time without ruining the effect???

Hi haegerst,it is a good effect...but too many time for renderize it. If you go in the help file on vue, there is an explanation where you can take some ideas for make an effect like that but with a little number of lights(because is the hig number of light cause of long render). Search "sign" on vue help file.
If you haven't already, turn the shadows off on some of the lights. That should speed up the render a bit.
