Description
Certainly not a perfect picture (especially when looking at the beautiful birds in danob’s gallery...) but:
1) It’s my first bird of prey in_flight capture
2) The Red Kite is my favourite among the 15 species flying around in South Belgium
This week-end in Belgium, it’s the annual census of the birds in the gardens... (see HERE: Devine qui vient manger chez nous aujourd’hui ? but the weather is rainy and very windy...

Well done Michel not going to get a lot closer in flight for wild birds at 200mm.. Try +1 or even +2 stops of exposure compensation with backlit birds.. Spot metering can help at times also.. Great to see Red kites still doing well over there.
Great shot of this wonderful bird, can't wait to have them round our way.
Hello Michel. Good try.. and continue with your work and for sure you can got better and better Hugs. Luis
