Captured back on 5/15/10, around noon, at the beautiful 16th Annual Muckenthaler Motor Car Festival, held at the beautiful Muckenthaler Cultural Center in beautiful Fullerton, California.
Better viewed full size.
This has no resemblance at all to the original Buick 40 line.
Love that stick gear shift, the kind I used in learning how to drive. I still use a non-automatic manual shift in my Honda.
And, yes, that's my shadow at the bottom right of the last photo.

Dandy car....silver inside and out. Front view is wonderful. Cars sure have come a LONG way!
It's a pretty toy indeed; I recently had occasion to use my so-called spare tire, and it was about the same size as these tires, not a whole lot larger than a bicycle tire! Great series of shots, Harry!
wow wish I had this image. super cook shots of it
Oh yeah to cool...love it Harry. The first time I ever drove a stick shift was at 8 and a half months pregnant with my first child, we were four wheeling on the back side of a mountain, hit some black mud which sucked us right down in...we had a '76 full size Chevy Blazer that my then brother in law had just bought...thus why we were out test driving it four wheeling...obviously I couldn't push for fear of going into labor so I got to drive...yippee...hey...we got out! ;-) GREAT post Harry!! :-)
This one is so beyond cool Harry, and one I'd love to see in person
Part #2 was worth the wait Harry. Very well done collage. Nice dash shots and the front end. Dana

Very impressive captures in this lovely collage.
Way good Harry...and even the keys have been left for one of us. Nice coverage on this bit of automotive history.
You've got some great captures of this old beauty...
