Nope, sorry, not an anthro. Not a furry. A Rakshasa, a fox-demon. Hey, this is my mythology! Not fandom. Seriously. We know him better as Meri--short for the summoning name slapped on him after the government of The People (his) convicted him of crimes against the state (he had the audacity to be right about the Princes' errors in foreign policy) and sold him to the Alchemists to pay off a national debt. Why would this pay off a national debt? Because Meri was the young general of their armies, their foremost warrior and champion. And he, uh, was a bit outspoken. And, sadly, also first husband to the Chusont'rai Clan Mother, and father of a number of children (amongst her other spouses). Like, about 11 children, most grown, all left behind. And a grandfather. Yes, a busy man! Er, demon. Anyhow...Meri found himself sold willy-nilly to a Gaian (that's us) wizard...enslaved...for thirty years in New York City, doing this bastard's bidding, having been brought *physically* to our Earth. How he got to be Ian's father, well, that's another bit of a story, and quite a sweet one. For another time, maybe? Anyhow...he was sent to kill Alex...and managed, the sly thing, to ask Alex for a boon. Which Alex had to grant, of course, since Meri paid in blood--and that was to be free of the wizard. Tables got turned, of course. Mayhem and magick ensued. Head were snicker-snacked. Uh! No spoilers! Now he's Alex's butler, and serves the Lady of Sorrows (Alex's grandmother & goddess). Heh. And gets hugged & squeezed by Alex regularly, because, well, he's short and squeezy and cute! Our photographer, Jimmy, managed to get him out of comfy clothing and into this outfit, which shows off his nice figure. This probably explains the sardonic expression. Too bad we can't see the pretty mane of fur down his back, and the cute little "tail" tuft over his butt. It does fit under clothing at least. "Silly young persons. What, you think, I model? Tscha, urrrr." Production notes: My own dial-spun M4 character, with Rawn's Prince Albane skin (purty!); Karth's Straight Pantzz outfit & Dark Bootiez with Wayii's awesome textures; Fabiana's Essential Floor textures; hair, background, DOF, and attitude added in post. PS- I had to reduce the original image to get it to reasonable size for the DAZ3D forum and for here, and this had the effect of making his sclera look black--they're not. He has a second set of irises, deep violet, around the first, that grow and contract depending on the light conditions, so it can *look* as if his eyes are almost pure black in dim light, and very human in brighter light. And they flicker with mood, too. Also, all the Kitsune people are not "white" like him, mostly just the Chusont'rai, the chief warrior clan. Most are darker and some are very gingery/red-fox looking. Think of Meri as an "arctic fox." :)
