Some sort of viewing scope?
Darn... and darned! I did not want to be the first to say what 'eye' think it is... Hmm, how do I put this, a trench version of a submarine thingy...? Great compo! Clive
Yep well done!
Periscope for looking over the edge of a foxhole
Phooey, the boys above got it cold! Good question. Good shot.
very cool, it would have been my guess to
Sacking has a rough structure so it doent reflect light. Nice find!
Fascinating!
This is what you call getting the sack for spying!!
Stunning capture my friend.
A WW1 Trench Periscope... To stop you getting your head shot off! Great POV mate, good capture! Like!! Rob
I think it's a good question, but is very difficult and no one can answer it, but you can!!! nice work, nice shot
amusant
When I saw the mirror I thought it was a periscope of some sort...good for trench warfare, and well...it's easier to have your periscope get shot rather than that part of your body just under your helmet. What an ingenious piece of work. What a cool shot too...this is one of those things that's totally on-the-mark logical, but not exactly something you'd think of in a day to day situation. That makes it pleasantly surprising. This is really great shooting.
periscope was my guess too, pitty they dint issue rifles that could be fired around the same corners too, How many people died during ww1 again?
Kewl! Brights back memories as we had periscope toys to play with. It was popular way back then. Aloha
