Description
Big lighted snowflakes lined the pier during the holidays. I wanted to catch the sun thru the light, but that would have meant climbing on the railing and I don't think the lifeguards allow that!!

Excellent!!
nice one
Do you use a tripod for these dark shots? I always do, and recently I got one of those Gorillapod things that are bendy and grip to everything. It's fantastic and much easier to carry than the full tripod. I notice on the website that they are now magnetic too! Mine isn't, but I loaded up the legs with Sugru for added stability and coolness! It's snowing like crazy here tonight. They SAY it will melt off by tomorrow noonish, but we'll see. I like this fake one so much better!
Good idea of Andrews!
Love the shot! Where there's a will, there's a way!
Wonderful capture! That's my kind of snow flake, it doesn't make you cold. ;)
that one big one for sure
Snowflakes in balmy Huntington Beach? Unheard of. Cool spectrum of color blends and silhouetting in this shot, Maz!
Great shot - beautiful sunset - I would have been up on the railing. :>) Dana
Snow. We got tons of that stuff. We got the edges of the Eastern and the Southern blizzards. In Chicago, "snow" is a four letter word. Oh wait, it's already a four-letter word...well...it's a different sort of four-letter word now, one that only grownups are supposed to use. Needless to say, if snow was more of what you just captured here, we'd like it a lot more. We tend to grumble and cuss like truck drivers when we have to shovel it or drive trucks through it. But this way, your way, is so much better. So much prettier too! I really like this, the colors are delicious and the contrasts are really super-nice! Yeah, this is the kinda snow I like
Reminds me of an old TV antena...bet you remember those:-) Nice shot Marilyn.
Pretty against the sunset...lovely capture!
