Description
Every year one particular dealer has three large picnic sized tables piled high with tumbled/polished rocks. The kids love picking through this pretty plethora and so does this big kid. ;~) It has become a tradition to stop at these tables and bring home some beauties.
The dollar amount for the Black Jade carving...$4,500
Thanks to all that took a guess at the asking price!

Truly bona fide beauties!
I'd love to root around in there too! Nice shot!
Fantastic, I love those stones so much, and this picture of them is amazing. I myself collect stones, and pick them up on our walks. They must not be so heavy to bear (LOL)
Ooooh, my inner 12 year old is drooling!
This is a very lovely polished pile. (I hope my piles are as polished as that!!!) Lol.
Delicious looking!
I webt once or twice to a rock show in Arizona and was fascinated by the stones and gems displayed, like you ones you show here.
Fantástica, uma captura excelente, aplausos (5)
I admit to the desire to prowl though baskets and tubs like this to find the right stone.
Beautiful rocks!!!!!
great beauties !
~A beautiful collection! Nice shot!~
Wonderful and interesting photoshot.
Wonderful collection! Excellent capture! :)
Yeah, hounds just can't help digging in a pile like that. You never know what you'll find. Me, I gravitate to the carnelian too. We had a mud bottom river up here in Washington that was loaded with carnelian. Used to spend whole weekends just playing in the mud to pile up the treasures...gives me ideas...maybe I should go take some photos in the rock pile. Thanks for sharing the rock show.
