Description
Since I broke the seal on the rock show folder, here is another. ;)
I marveled at this one solid piece of black jade that had been beautifully carved. Even thought of purchasing such, then the sticker shock! I'll hold off on the price until next posting so as to here everyone's guess at it's asking price...lol. It is approximately the size of a volley ball.
To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!!

what an amazing piece of black rock.. with little stairs and such what a work... what a work !
Very lovely work on this piece! my guess is no less that $575,000 more like $750,000
This building has high bay metal halide light's, which are not very flatter. However the full view is recommended to appreciate the carving
i never see black jade!! thank you for this wonderful photo!!
nice
Rock show! I am envious. There are never a rock where I live! :( As for the black jade carving it is exactly the kind of thing I want to get into after thePoser/Vue stint!
It is quite a nice piece of jade. I'm not wild about the design of the carving but it looks well-executed. My guess would be around $20,000 for that piece, perhaps less. When I was doing rock work we frequently obtained black jade from Wyoming but I have no idea of the cost for a piece this size and it would depend on the nature of the included fractures.
Really beautiful and wonderful cratmanship.
Fabulous! What a super piece of work!
Someone has spent a lot of time and care carving this jade and for that reason alone it is worth a deeper look and much appreciation.
Fascinante, captura magnifica, aplausos (5)
Great shot ! The price ? Too expensive for me...
WOW, this looks great. The form does me think of a Mandelbulb D3 ;-). But the price, no idea (a fortune for me for sure :P)

This looks expensive.... Nice capture. Aloha
That's an awesome looking carving! If that's less than $5000 I'll eat my hat! (Well....If I had a hat that is, and one that was edible.)

PRETTY COOL SHOT
Neat stuff. More patience went into that work than I could muster!
