I thought that I would post this orchid, from the eye surgeon's office, to thank everybody, here at Renderosity, for the love, prayers, site mails, E-mails and support that you have sent our way as my wife Jo, has been recovering from her eye surgery. They say it will take another 45 days to be back to 100 percent. Thank you all again.

45 days goes by quickly, unless you're counting the seconds, so don't do that! I'm glad to hear that your wife is on the mend, and that the prognosis is good. That's always the most encouraging thing to hear, and encouragement goes a long way. I love hearing good news like that as well. I also love this photo. Orchids are some of my favorite flowers: there's just something about them. I haven't attempted to raise a single one. Oh well, at least I can look at them, and looking at this one is such a marvel. I love it when small things can draw one's attention as much as a flower can, or an insect, or anything that can be overlooked, easily...and though orchids stand out, the details you show in this one are really engaging, fantastic, complex, and just downright gorgeous. I love the crisp colors too. Great stuff on top of what I'm taking as very, very, very good news. Yeah, this rocks!
