Description
My first attempt to compress down to meet RRs posting requirements. Ive lost some detail and would like your thoughts. The ceiling of a Chinese temple taken while flat on my back on the floor, to the horrified looks, of the rest of the people, in there with me. I was not asked to leave this time.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments.
They are very much appreciated.

Nice. Remember too you should be able to go bigger. I routinely reduce mine in Photoshop to 1700 longest side and 500kb if that helps. (down from my full frame 5D MII's 5616 x 3744). It's annoying isn't it when you have to sacrifice some resolution just to show the darn thing!
superb!!
Wonderful capture love the colors !!!!!
A superb shot!
LOL....how often do you get asked to leave places?? I ought to hang around with you, sounds like fun heehee.
Looks very good to me Dana, only you would know what might be lost. Great shot.
What a wonderful place! I resize to 1000 high normally.
Great and beautiful capture of this ceiling! :o)
Well spotted.
Wonderful capture, Dana! I can bet that you weren't the only one to lie on your back to take the shot of this beautiful ceiling
Laying on the floor beats getting a crick in your neck...lol..I can't offer much Dana as I've never scene nothing like this before except maybe in our local China Buffet eatery...But that was a small painting compared to what you captured...(smile)
Nice POV should not be a problem to reduce size as the web only needs 72dpi
~Fantastic!!!!~
Beautiful ceiling, so colourful. You do make me chuckle, the picture of you laying on the floor taking these pics is so funny. :o) Its a wonder they don't cart you off :o)
COOL ALMOST A FRACTAL RENDER ;-)
" What you doing! No lay down her!" ;D LOL! Looks like a fractal, superb POV and capture Dana! :)
very wonderful
gorgeous!
WOW...Now this is outstanding, fabulous work Dana, just adorable!
very beautiful! it looks a caledoscope. I think the compression hasn't spolied it!
The compression hasn't hurt this really, though I know it looks better at full size. It is a great shot and the only way to get it would be flat on your back.
I have done the same thing in cathedrals(laying on my back).one of the reasons I want a fisheye is for this very purpose.my 10-20 sigma will not get all of a domed ceiling.stunning design and capture
WOW! Thanks for taking this from that POV, it's just outstanding. Reminds me of the I Ching. Beautiful.
A spectacular roulette wheel of fantastic patterns and textures in this stellar on-your-back photo, Dana.
Oh, beautiful! What program do you use? Photoshop has the "Save for web" function which has a lot of flexibility in image quality vs. size...the only downside (for some) is that it strips out the exif data.
wow, what an impressive view...love it
Splendide simmetrie in questa bella immagine ! Great pov and colors!
