Description
Firstly, I have spent the day at the Police Museum. They have a very interesting, confronting and graphic display of photos, weapons and other crime related items. I was amazed that I was allowed to photograph any of it, but they said that it was all reality and thats why they are there. People need to know. So I got a heap of pretty confronting photos!
In March 1986 a massive car bomb exploded outside Russell Street police headquarters in Melbourne. Two police officers were critically injured, and one, Constable Angela Taylor (below) died three weeks later from her horrific blast injuries. What a tough girl.
To see the building, see my previous post HERE.
Here is the car from another view. I took these 2 photos of the car today at the Police Museum.

we never heard of the incident thanks for letting us know my goosh .. i was 20.. and about to go to Lloret de Mar, Spain for the summer of my life what did we know in those days... pardy, pardy, pardy as there were already horrible things happening all around and down under us
horrific, but something that needs to be known. well done.
My God! What a shame it is that someone has to resort to violence to make themselves heard and to take a life.... Great photo and thanks for the information
The terrible things.
Choices. Clive
A superb pic behind glass...What a good idea to exhibit these things as reminders of the horror.
As a young lad I did two tours of Northern Ireland "Belfast" with the British Army, so I know what damege this can cause. Bombing civilians is NOT THE WAY TO GO!!!
Stunning capture my friend.
First a wonderful dedication to Angela Taylor - God bless her soul. A fantastic capture of what is left of the car. Dana
evil doers ... cool shot of this
May all bombers burn... Bet you have some very interesting pics coming up too.
Cool shot.
Very interesting and i just do not know how people can be so evil and hurt others just to make them feel better but this u have captured should be known.
I remember this mate.. Was all over the news here, being Australia it would be.. Very close links between us.. My views on the people that do such things, I won't put on here... And I think that's strong enough! Fine tribute.. Rob
