Description
I scared the living daylights out of this tree frog because I had left the setting on flash. S/he jumped with a 12 foot drop and I am happy to say that it was a safe landing on a fan palm.
I am working on a satellite shot, of my condo complex, to maybe answer some of the site mail questions from last nights posting. That was not the entrance to where we live. It was just the best decorated entrance in our area.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments.
They are very much appreciated.

What an adorably cute little creature! I'm glad s/he landed safely. I like the colors in this shot and the somewhat unusual color of the little frog itself. Really nice.
nice find Dana, cool captue of this little frog.
My dad would love this shot! He is a frog-guy! Great capture
cool shot and happy it was not hurt
wonderful capture!! superb!!
What a great find!!
A happy fall and capture pretty!
You scared him so much he's gone white.
Fantastic shot.
I watched the Royal Institution Christmas lecture..'Size matters' which was partly about the mass v. surface area relationship. He caught the young audience attention by bringing on a hamster and a poodle and mooting which would survive when dropped from a great height! The demonstration (using jelly crash dummies) clearly showed that that the hamster would bounce but the poodle would smash, which we could of course have guessed...but it was the first time I actually understood why! ...I think! A super pic..I love Alans comment about him going white!
Fancy frightening it like that, you should have been 'toad' off!!!! Lol. Great shot Dana, best to be a jump ahead of the rest!
Great capture! He looks a bit sleepy still? :o)
Great shot Dana - he/she looks as snug in a bug in a rug before her impromptu flying act!
Such a little cutie love the frogs.
WOW....Wonderful capture Dana, a precious image! Well done!
Wonderful find and a very well done photo. Nice and clear with details.
Great find and shot; poor little guy, hope his cardiac system is OK after the fright!
Sorry s/he fell, glad landed safely & great pic but I still not toooooo keen :o)
Fantastic shot, Dana !
belle prise!
GREAT CAPTURE
Really weird. Looks like someone's trying to lasso the poor guy as it huddles ensconced in that narrow corridor, Dana. It kind of reminds me of the sport of luge. That said, excellent capture of the amphibian.
S/he looks so comfy here too, a shame s/he woke with a start but I'm sure s/he settled easily again. A lovely capture.
She seems to warm the best she can lol ...... Bravo is a good shot. Many thanks ((5 + +)) Elle semble se réchauffer du mieux qu'elle peut lol...... Bravo c'est une bonne prise de vue . Mille mercis((5++))
Maybe he/she is camera shy. ;) I've never got the chance to find one during the day, only at night. Excellent capture!
