Description
This is a Happy Birthday wish going out to my oldest son Dana II. You know him as USAnomad. This is the Eastern Point Lighthouse, Gloucester, Massachusetts. Gloucester is where he spent his early years before heading west to Arizona, Utah and finally California. Taken on a snowy winter afternoon, under overcast skies, about 35 years ago. The slide (transparency) was recently scanned.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments.

terrific, impressive birthday present! happy birthday!
Excellent composition in this pic of the Coast Guard Ice Station, Dana. And Happy Birthday to your son!
What a pic. It's like a happier and friendlier, and more approachable version of something I once saw in the X-Files...so naturally I'd glom onto that! Typical! I love the red and white boldness of this, and it makes a perfect dedication too. This is really excellent work on every level.
except for the red it would be a white out.very beautiful
Beautiful capture! And I'll bet your glad your not still up north. ;) Happy Birthday Dana! The other one, your son. You know what I mean. ;D

My son shares the same Birth date as you know...he was here for a small party we had for him but my big dog nipped his girlfriend...so the evening kind of got spoiled... :-( Hope yours was better.
