Hi everybody,
My name is Dana Pommet and my wife’s name is Josephine. I was born in Gloucester, Massachusetts, in 1942, and except for a tour in the Navy, lived there for most of my life. I retired to Delray Beach, Florida in December 2000. We love to travel and photography goes hand and hand with that. I went digital about 5 years ago and started posting November 22, 2008. I have met so many wonderful people on RR and that makes this whole process so much more interesting than just posting photos. Thanks for all the comments and keep them coming.
Update  January 2012: After hiding and denying my mild Dyslexia, for most of my professional life, and now fighting with its advancement – I want to thank you all for putting up with my poor typing skills and spelling problems. I know that my spell checker hates me and I now depend completely on audio books rather then actually reading printed books.  Life marches on!  ÂÂ

Wow, this capture is the best I have ever seen of this beautiful moss. It gives me a fabulous look at it. We don't have it down here so I love to see it close up.

Oh, so that's what they call that stuff...reminds me of Santa Claus beards. Stellar ambiance, clarity and texture in this pic, Dana.

that a lot of moss. i like to see it. A indian tale is told about the moss. One time this newly marry man and wife started to clear land to make a home for themselfs in the wildeness. the indian did not wish this and came and killed them and scape them. As the indians left the dead man and wife behind they noted the trees strarted to grow the spainish moss and they know it was to remiond them of they evil they did to the man and wife. ever where theywent the spainish moss followed.
